Resting on fresh sheets in the late morn. It is Sunday, around ten o’ clock. The sunlight appeared nearly painted, nearly drawn, pouring in from the high window, the one on the wall to her left. As she opens her eyes, she notices the dust specks, floating softly through the air above her.
Rubbing the side of her cheek, it is flushed. The peach glow between the curtains welcomed in the light that warmed her mattress and sheets.
